Dr. César Huiliñir C.

Profesor asociado del departamento de Ingeniería Química de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Ingeniero Civil Industrial (Universidad de la Frontera) y Dr. en Ciencias de la Ingeniería c/m Ingeniería Química (Universidad de Concepción). Realizó un post-doctorado (1 año) en la Universidad Técnica de Berlín, en el Grupo del Dr. Sven Geissen ligado a la modelación de reactores biológicos aplicados al tratamiento de aguas. Su ámbito de investigación es la aplicación de procesos biológicos al tratamiento y re-uso de residuos industriales, donde ha liderado en los últimos 5 años 2 proyectos FONDECYT y ha sido co-investigador en 3 Proyectos FONDECYT y un Proyecto FONDEF. Tiene 26 publicaciones ISI en los últimos 5 años (5 publicaciones por año, en promedio), ha participado en más de 10 congresos nacionales e internacionales, tiene 2 capítulos de libros, 1 libro y 1 patente. Actualmente es director del Magister en Medio Ambiente Mención Ingeniería de Tratamiento de Residuos de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile. En el área académica, ha sido profesor de ramos de la especialidad de reactores bioquímicos a nivel de pre y posgrado en la Universidad de Santiago. Actualmente dirige 5 estudiantes del Doctorado en Ciencias de la Ingeniería Mención Ingeniería de Procesos y responsable de 2 Post-Doctorado financiado por CONICYT.
