Desde 1981 he guiado más de 150 tesis de pregrado (Ingeniería de Ejecución Química e Ingeniería Civil Química ), 12 tesis de Magister y 2 tesis de Doctorado. Los temas de las tesis están relacionados con combustión y carbonización de carbones, secado de agro-productos y suspensiones en lechos fluidizados y de chorro, liofilización atmosférica y a vacío de agro-productos y de suspensiones, aplicaciones usando energía solar y materiales de cambio de fase en secado y en sistemas de desalación.
